RUKIE is a smartphone app the aim of which is to establish a contact between a household and a craftsman. Each household knows that situation when something goes wrong and they need a professional who would help them immediately.

RUKIE provides households with a possibility of direct communication with craftsmen and this way they can solve problems immediately. At the same time, the app represents a form of a modern online solution of problems. For craftsmen, this is also a flexible marketing tool.

The app can be downloaded for free by anyone. Currently, there are more than 2,400 bricklayers and house painters in the database, as well as almost 2,000 electricians, more than 800 repairers of appliances and thousands of more craftsmen of more than 30 professions. See more at www.rukie.sk

RUKIE app was created as a response to everyday problems of VSE/innogy customers that we had discovered also thanks to our experience from the Benefits Card programme and its assistance services lasting for several years. The pilot operation started at the end of the summer of 2016 when the first customers in Eastern Slovakia familiarized with the app. Since 2016, RUKIE has been available in the entire Slovakia, including Bratislava. During its first 8 months, more than 30,000 users downloaded the app looking for help in more than 4,300 requests, whereas RUKIE connected them with craftsmen in their surroundings thanks to almost 27,000 conversations.

Today, RUKIE is the most downloaded app of its kind in Slovakia. The app has not only won the trust of innogy, but cooperates closely with Whirlpool or the biggest Slovak taxi app called HOPIN.
